Who we are

BambooForge Labs is an independent software vendor. These apps are written and supported by the same people who answer support@bambooforge.dev - there is no ticket queue between you and whoever wrote the code, which is the one advantage a small publisher has and we would rather use it than hide it.

We are not the party that takes your money. Purchases go through the Odoo Apps Store, where Odoo S.A. is the seller of record: they process the payment, issue the invoice and handle VAT. This page is about the licence and the support that come with the app, not about the sale.

The apps

Use of an app is governed by the Odoo Proprietary License v1.0, whose text ships inside the module. Our summary of it explains it in plain language, and the LICENSE file wins wherever the two differ.

What we promise

The app does what its documentation on this site says it does, on the Odoo series it is published for. If it does not, we fix it or we refund it - see refunds.

What we do not promise

We do not promise the app is fit for a purpose we have not described. Every app page carries a section saying what that app deliberately does not do, and a full walkthrough video, precisely so that you can decide before buying.

We do not promise compatibility with third-party modules we have never seen.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim arising from an app is limited to what you paid us for it. We are not liable for lost profit, lost data, or business interruption. Take backups before installing or upgrading anything, ours included; that is ordinary practice with Odoo and we are not able to recover a database for you.

The demo servers

Provided as-is, for looking at. Wiped nightly. No uptime is promised, and anything you enter is public until the wipe.

Changes

We may change these terms; the version in force for your purchase is the one published on the day you bought. This page shows the date it was last built.

Your rights where you live

Nothing on this page limits any right you have under the consumer or commercial law that applies to you. Where that law says something different from what is written here, that law wins - and for a purchase made through the Odoo Apps Store, your contract for the sale itself is with Odoo S.A.
