Licence
Every app we publish is licensed under the Odoo Proprietary License v1.0 (OPL-1). The full text ships in the LICENSE file inside each module and is the binding document; this page is a plain-language summary of it and does not replace it.
What you may do
Install and run the app on your own Odoo databases, for your own business, with no limit on the number of users.
Modify the source for your own use.
Keep using the version you bought, for as long as you like. There is no runtime licence check, no phone-home, and no expiry. If we disappeared tomorrow, your installation would keep working.
What you may not do
Redistribute the app, modified or not, to anyone outside your organisation - including publishing it, reselling it, or bundling it into a product you sell.
Host it as a service for third parties without a separate agreement with us. Running it for your own subsidiaries is fine; running it for paying clients is not.
If you are a partner or integrator who wants to deploy an app for clients, write to support@bambooforge.dev. We do this, and the terms are reasonable.
One purchase, one series
Odoo modules are version-specific. A purchase on the Odoo Apps Store covers the Odoo series you bought it for. Where we publish the same app for several series, each is a separate listing at its own price, because each is a separate body of code that we maintain separately.
Updates
Bug fixes and improvements within a series are free for as long as we publish that series, and reach you through the Odoo Apps Store the same way the original download did. We do not charge for a fix to something that was broken.
Third-party code
Where an app includes code under another licence, that code's licence and notice ship with it, inside the module.
