# WooCommerce Connector compared with the alternatives

OCA's connector-woocommerce (free, AGPL-3) installs only on Odoo 8.0, and its
README names WooCommerce 2.4.x; pull requests to port it to 16.0, 17.0 and
18.0 are open and not merged. Odoo's Sales documentation for 19.0 and 20.0
lists marketplace connectors for Amazon, Lazada, Shopee and TikTok, and none
for WooCommerce.

## Choose which, and when

- **Choose OCA's connector** if you run Odoo 8.0 and want AGPL-3 code at no
  licence cost. It has no installable build for 9.0 or any later series
  today.
- **Choose Odoo IN's connector** if you are on 19.0, manage your catalogue in
  WooCommerce and are content with a sync every ten minutes that creates the
  invoices and payments for you.
- **Choose Emipro** if you need the widest scope (two-way products and
  coupons, shipment and tracking export, refunds both ways, several stores
  and warehouses) with implementation hours included, or a series older than
  16.0.
- **Choose ours** if you are on any of Odoo 16.0 to 20.0, want WooCommerce's
  built-in webhooks signed and checked, order totals that match the store,
  refunds as draft credit notes, product export and a one-time price - and
  you do not need shipments or tracking numbers sent to WooCommerce,
  multi-warehouse routing, or subscription and booking orders.
